            "content_html": "<p>The VA-221-SI is the fourth generation of Vectis Amplification's headphone amp. The topology utilises the incredible Burr-Brown OPA2134 amplifier. Some of the notable features are:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Battery or wall power</li>\n<li>Buffered output</li>\n<li>1/4\" and 1/8\" output jacks</li>\n<li>RCA, 1/4\" or  1/8\" input jack</li>\n<li>Switchable signal attenuation of -6 dB</li>\n<li>Switchable gain of 10 or 20 dB </li>\n<li>Stereo or Mono switch</li>\n<li>Switchable sound-stage option</li>\n<li>Small footprint in a classic look</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The VA-221-SI is a single input device with three choices of input.  The priority is 1/8\" TRS &gt; 1/4\" TRS &gt; RCA.  Only a single input should be active during use.</p>\n<p>The sound-stage is designed to reduce listener fatigue by bleeding a small portion of the signal across channels.  </p>\n<p>Because all sources have different output levels, the VA-221-SI is designed with a signal attenuation switch which is useful to attenuate the input signal when high output devices are used.  A typical 0.3 V<sub>RMS</sub> signal will not require any attenuation but a professional output level of 1 V<sub>RMS</sub> will benefit from the 6 dB cut at the input.</p>\n<p>The amplifier works well with a range of headphone impedances.  I currently use it with <span class=\"a-size-large product-title-word-break\">Sennheiser HD 280 PRO headphones at 64 Ohms and </span><span id=\"productTitle\" class=\"a-size-large product-title-word-break\">beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro at 250 Ohms.  The sound is slightly reduced with the higher impedance headphones, but still more than loud enough to hurt.</span></p>\n<p><span id=\"productTitle\" class=\"a-size-large product-title-word-break\"></span></p>\n<div class=\"gallery-wrapper\"><div class=\"gallery\" data-is-empty=\"false\" data-translation=\"Add images\" data-columns=\"2\">\n<figure class=\"gallery__item\"><a href=\"https://test.vectisamps.com/media/posts/2/gallery/DSC_3084.jpg\" data-size=\"1866x1200\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https://test.vectisamps.com/media/posts/2/gallery/DSC_3084-thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"463\"></a></figure>\n<figure class=\"gallery__item\"><a href=\"https://test.vectisamps.com/media/posts/2/gallery/DSC_3088.jpg\" data-size=\"1802x1157\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https://test.vectisamps.com/media/posts/2/gallery/DSC_3088-thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"462\"></a></figure>\n<p><a href=\"https://test.vectisamps.com/media/files/VA-221-SI.pdf\" title=\"VA-221-SI Schematic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Schematic</a></p>\n</div></div>",
